Description: This Working Group 7 occupies a distinct position within the structure of the Action, as it functions as its operational and strategic backbone. It ensures both internal and external communication, liaises with stakeholders, oversees grant-related processes, and manages the project’s core infrastructure, including the website and centralised database. In addition, it leads capacity-building activities through the coordination of Grants and dedicated support for Young Researchers and Innovators.
Young Researchers’ Coordinator – Jacobo Hernando Morejón University of Malaga (ES)
Responsible for promoting the active involvement of Young Researchers and Innovators (YRIs) in COS-MICs activities. This role includes coordinating training initiatives, mentoring and capacity-building actions, and ensuring that the perspectives and contributions of YRIs are adequately represented across WGs activities.
Branding and Visual Identity Manager – Marco d’Alessandro Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna (IT)
Responsible for ensuring a coherent visual identity and branding strategy for the Action. This role oversees the preparation and dissemination of newsletters, supports the development of communication materials, and ensures consistency in messaging, tone, and visual standards across all communication channels.
Social Media Manager & Digital Coordinator – Soledad Castaño Santos University of Basel (CH)
Responsible for managing and developing the Action’s presence on social media platforms. This includes the creation and curation of content, the promotion COS-MICs activities, events, and outputs, and contributing to broader outreach and engagement strategies in coordination with the Science Communication Coordinator and the WG7 Leader. Responsible for overseeing the digital tools and infrastructure used in COS-MICs, including the website, collaborative platforms, and digital repositories. This role also supports the integration of digital humanities approaches where relevant and advises on best practices for digital dissemination and long-term sustainability.
